"We had an excellent experience at KAI Ito! Our family of four stayed in a room with a private hot spring tub. The suite was large and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were included. The food was extravagant and excellent, but note that it will not be appropriate for very picky eaters. visit in Hakone at the Prince Hotel. The Japanese bath is exceptionally beautiful, has an outdoor tub from which the sunrise over the mountains can be seen. We enjoyed the extensive breakfasts- don't pass them up. We don't golf or play tennis, but used this resort setting as a base for sightseeing and hiking the region's mountain trails."

"The crowded hour bus ride up a crazy windy road was not ideal. Once you got to the hotel there wasn’t much to do without have to ride that crazy bus ride back down the mountain. I made the best of it and enjoyed the mineral baths and a in room massage. The staff at this hotel outshined all the rest of my accommodations in Japan. A friendly smile leveled up
