"Our room was nice and clean, but not good for our elder who was using a walker. The bathroom required a step up which she could not make with her walker. Doorway also had a riser that made handicap access challenging.
Breakfast was so so.
"
"Great stay and easy to get to hotel. Room shows wear and tear, but it’s not their fault. Us travelers need to be more aware and take better care of the rooms. "
"This hotel is above JR Takasaki station. Convenient location and a lot of places to eat and shop. The room is clean and very quiet. I had a comfortable bed. "
"Our stay was great. Checkin was easy just use the machine add your details and get code of the room.
Room was good, we had view of Shinkansen and trains.
Breakfast was delicious we loved it and again checkout was easy.
Cheerful and helpful staff, clean hotel and delicious healthy breakfast. Thank you hotel Sun!!!"
"A hot spring-style bath (onsen) is terrific. It helped me relax after the long international trip from the U.S. (Boston). The breakfast is just gorgeous. Both Western and Japanese-style food are delightful, especially for Westerners. Since most clients are male Japanese businessmen, you get to see the non-touristy, "real" side of Japan. "
"First time at this hotel and i was satisfied with my experience.
The rooms are not big , but is exactly as the pictures shown.
Front desk nice and polite and the area is very close to restaurants and shops.
Clean rooms, clean bathrooms and convenient laundry room inside the hotel.
I will stay again. "
"Hotel property is a bit away from most things so it's best to either take a taxi or to drive. We stayed one night, New Year's eve, so not much was open. However there is a giant supermarket across the street so you can get most anything you want to buy even pre-made food The hotel serves a microwaveable small meal, 4 choices. Nothing great, but edible. We walked to the silk mill then yo the train station
"
"Excellent location, room and impeccable service as usual. Walking distance from Takasaki Eki, Montres, OPA/Aeon, restaurants, Takasaki Arena, Museums, and the Concourse!"
"We stayed the hotel as the closest one to our last destination on the day. We preferred the one with hot springs but we discovered it has man-made hotspring which was good enough for me to enjoy. The hotel seems to be popular for male businessmen much less female guests so that the I had a big public bath on my own. You find many choices for breakfast and you can get Japanese news paper as Free of charge. The hotel is at on a aroute 17. If you travl a car, the hotel can be convenient stay."
"My only issue was that I was placed on a smoking room though I booked a non smoking one. The hotel was too booked to remedy the issue. Needless to say it made my stay less enjoyable than it would have. Even. The staff tried their best to help me out…they even gave me deodorizer spray. I blame the Orbitz side of the booking for my issue and not them…it’s clear you didn’t get the non smoking part of my booking sent their way."
