"A lovely old house. Cosy, comfortable and clean old building combined with a friendly greeting and elegant furnishings all make for a lovely stay. We stayed in room #7 which is spacious, with a king sized bed and a bath. A couple of other rooms were smaller and looked a bit cramped but still very nicely furnished."

"Overall we had a lovely stay at the hearthstone inn Dartmouth. Our room was very clean and beds were comfortable. Location was great! Close to many amenities and quiet neighbourhood. Only downside we had with this hotel was it said (free breakfast) on the website but when we got there they said they only offered breakfast on weekends. "

"The staff were so hospitable and made me feel comfortable. The location is amazing and walking distance to so many options for food and shopping. As well as 20 min drive to airport and 20 kin drive to downtown Halifax harbour. "

"Stay was amazing! They are very close to the Halifax harbour and to downtown. The hotel is in 3 historic buildings so no elevators but only 3 flights of stairs at most. They have a beautiful little patio are complete with waterfall and daily happy hour. Staff was great, very helpful and friendly."
