Ostello Battaglia
10/10 Excellent
"Ostello Battaglia
A fantastically helpful Hotel!!!
We were delayed coming in on our flight, I managed to contact the hotel and the helpful staff left our key accessible for us.
It is a cheap and cheerful hotel in a quiet location.
The staff could not have been any more helpful!
Comfy beds, excellent water pressure.
Will definitely stay again."
"Room was better than we expected. Just lacking a kettle which would have been nice. Breakfast selection was amazing. So much to choose from, exceeded our expectations. Would stay again.
Only negative was on booking we were told tourist tax was included but on arrival we had to pay, including for small children. "
"Our room was clearly newly renovated and we felt it was exceptionally clean. The lobby area is very clean and renovated. The gym was spacious and had everything you needed for a good workout, although machines are quite dated they are functional. The pool area was also very clean and loungers were comfortable. The pool did look like it needed cleaning on the sides and bottom of the pool so we didn’t go in. Staff were very friendly and helpful. "
"The property and its surroundings were really lush and beautiful. Very Relaxing! Our only issue was that sometimes it was difficult finding a parking spot but overall we enjoyed our stay very much. "
"The room itself was fine but expected a little better based on the reviews. My visitor ended up staying with me because the air conditioning was not very good in the room and it stayed humid. The staff was nice enough and as accommodating as they could be. The area of the hotel was a bit inconvenient to stay in Vicenza due to construction and traffic."
"The only bad thing about this hotel was the WI-FI; the signal was terrible, and in order to connect, one had to be in the restroom. Other than the Wi-Fi the place is very nice and the staff is friendly and helpful."
"We loved it, the girls at the reception were absolutely fabulous. Rooms aren’t super new, but very spacious, clean and comfortable. Pools are amazing and the breakfast was delicious."
"What a great hotel! It was chosen as a convenient stop to break up a late night arrival and a drive to Venice with my kids but it was definitely a hidden gem. The staff could not have been more helpful. We had a delayed flight so I called to check someone would still be around for us to check in. I was advised someone would be there until 11 but if we were arriving later it wasn't a problem. We then had a stressful chain of events, pushing us way past 11pm but the man at the hotel called to check our arrival time and gave clear arrival instructions which were also sent by what's app, including pictures to help us check we were at the right place. It really made a world of difference and I am so grateful.
The hotel was clean, beds were comfy and air con was great. Buffet breakfast was small but contained a good selection of savoury and sweet options. Staff were friendly and really helpful. Parking was easy. No complaints at all.
Upon arrival in Venice, we discovered a lifelong best friend teddy had been lost (every parents nightmare!) but a quick WhatsApp to the hotel and it was located (phew!), a picture was sent to us and it was kept safe for us to collect - again, a lifesaver!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and the friendly helpful staff really made it. "
"Very noisy concert on the premises past 11 pm- would be good business practice to let guests know in advance.
Restaurant very disappointing - very slow service and food not great (despite Michelin recommendation ). Enjoyed our visit to Villa Pisani."
"Excellent host, great place, very clean and comfy and a great neighborhood, this is my second time to visit this place and will definitely come back.

"Lovely Villa & surroundings. Very nice apartment for 3 with a bathroom & 1/2. Very helpful, responsive staff. Good communications, especially for after hours check in. There was a AC unit on in upstairs which cooled off the downstairs eventually. The pull out sofa bed in our apt. could use fuller cushions to sit on and the pull out bed was not too comfortable for an adult male. Other than that our stay was one night and nice. The grounds are lovely. A very relaxing atmosphere with a pretty courtyard & nice pool. I would highly recommend this Villa for your stay. "
"Great pre -arrival communication with directions that took us through the vines to our stay. Warm greeting with smooth check in. Lots of local info and helpful info provided. Room clean and bed comfy . Shower had plenty of hot water . Breakfast was good with a good selection and a friendly service. A great stay in a great place. "
"We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and quiet. Our bathroom was dreamy with a classic clawfoot tub and beautiful windows. Water pressure was amazing. Our room overlooked a big persimmon tree. You could also hear church bells and the roosters which made the experience. The staff was incredible and very attentive. We were there for a wedding reception which was very well done. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant too. Would highly recommend the hotel for the experience. While the decor was not to my taste and a bit overwhelming, it was still a cool experience overall."
"Great location in city center. Very clean always. 2 negatives. There is no elevator, of the 5 rooms only room 1 was on the ground floor. They should let people know about that. Only other thing is that in the shower stall there’s no where to put your soap and shampoo. You have to keep picking them up off the floor."
"This was one fantastic experience. I would highly recommend Illasi Dream Rooms. Elisa was fabulous and helpful. She even helped us by ringing the taxi company and confirming our booking as we cannot speak Italian. Rooms were clean and elegant. Illasi town is a treasure and a great place to beat the crowds. Regular 40 min bus ride to Verona. Excellent in all respects. "
