"The biggest strength of this property were the Reception staff - Monica and Marta - who were both always helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The hotel is excellently located for the Vatican City and St. Peter's and within 500 metres of Ottiviano Metro Station. The area around the hotel is relatively quiet and within 200 metres of good bars/ restaurants.
The hotel itself is clean and well kept although the facilities in my room lacked being able to make a drink for yourself or somewhere to sit.
I would stay at the Grand Olympic again - its strengths far outweigh a few minor improvements."
"It is exactly what you want when traveling, especially while working. Location is not a typical tourist location but has some really good bars and restaurants near it. The property grounds however are next level and have everything you need and more. It is so good that i rebooked it straight away when my flight was canceled as opposed to staying anywhere else. Getting to the hotel from the airport is extremely easy via the train to Roma Termini. And the train the next morning was from the same train station.

"We are frequent travelers and wanted to be somewhere within walking distance to the Termini station. Within 8 minutes on foot we were at the front door and were awed by the staff's attention to detail and personal touch. Everywhere place we went, from the Hotel's restaurant to the front desk at any time of the day, the Hotel staff knew our names and about our stay. We ordered a box lunch as we had an early plane departure, and each of the 10 euro "box lunches" was enough food for 3 people. The room was large and the bathtub and shower were spacious. Other rooms in our itinerary just didn't measure up to this hotel. If it is not a 5 star hotel, it should be."
