"This hotel was literally 100 metres from Salerno train station. Very easy to check staff are on point speak good English. I’m not a big fan of hotel continental breakfast but here it was very good. Simple selection good quality ingredient. They made omelette etc and coffees on order. Rooms safe & quite walking distance to shops and port for day excursions. If I ever come back to salerno I will most definitely stay here for the price and standard it was exceptional "

"The Grand Hotel is abundant in everything 😍 great location, a 5-10 mins walk to ferry port (usually amalfi coast boats i.e. Travelmar). Centrally located to everything such as beach & town centre. Lovely walk to Lungomare Promenade! "

"Very convenient by the train station, room I stayed was small but was all I needed. Great staff and the breakfast service was good. Only thing is the coffee is not great. Very walkable area and very safe. Oh and solid AC!"

"Great stay and a great location ! We loved everything about our stay, we were with a toddler and we couldn't have asked for more. The check in and check out process was super simple as well. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the housekeeper is a lovely lady as well. Next time we are in Salerno, we will be back!"

"This place is great. We were a family of 5 and it had everything we needed and more. You are not in the main tourist area but this was great because local shops/bakeries/cafe all close which we enjoyed. They went above and beyond with an issue of lost luggage trying to help."

"Just a 12 minute walk from the beach at Castellabate this lovely hotel has excellent views across the coast, especially from the restaurant. We had a well equipped sea view room which was very comfortable and air conditioned. Breakfast was very good. The pool area and gardens are well kept and there is plenty of parking. Staff were all very helpful. Would certainly stay again. "

"Historic 19th century manor modernized approximately for a lovely stay. War the museum and archeological site, yet away from the busy entrance cares. A wonderful restaurant that one needs to reserve for an exclusive chef directed dinner. Novel and well prepared. With special touches that Chef Luigi creates. Other excellent restaurants and bistros in walking distance. This boutique hotel is best for adults, but children would be fine —just not at the restaurant. Fresh fruit and chef-baked bread are part of the buffet breakfast as is home made cheeses and condiments. A great place to be after a day walking among ancient ruins and elegant temples."

The hotel has ocean front balcony views and sits on a new and well lit promenade. The owners speak English in a village where few do. A fun stay in a nearly Italian only tourist village. Go! "

"From start to finish, everything about B&B Cherie Salerno has been excellent. Mario greeted us at the front entrance and directed us to the second floor where Sylvia greeted us to checked us in. She was professional and explained everything with pride. The room was welcoming, bright, clean and very quiet and safe. It has black out shades that automatically go down when you leave the room and so the room stays cool. The host was very communicative with timely responses. The location is excellent, easy walking distance for bus, train, ferry port, and historic sights. Offering luggage storage is very appreciated. Glad we stayed and would stay here again. "It was modern, with coffee and tea service, all the toiletries imaginable, close to a mini-mart and bar and within walking distance of my tour hotel. It also had a collection of poetry in the room."

"We arrived early at the hotel and we're allowed to park at the hotel while we walked to the ancient Greek Temples which were an easy walk from the hotel. The hotel had beautiful grounds and a nice swimming pool. The room was nice and clean, but simple. We atedinner and it was delicious, as was the morning breakfast. All in all a great stay and we would do it again. If you are going to see the Temples, it is worth a stay. "
