"It was fun staying at this beautiful house with its wonderful views of the Aeolian islands from the various porches. The proprietors were great hosts. If you want to get in your exercise, you can climb the steep mountain road in back of the house and while you're at it, get a chorus of dogs barking along the way. The restaurant within walking distance around the corner was pretty good."

It’s across the street from the historic center, and is actually very well located although it might not seem so on first impression. The decor feels a lot like an American motel - not much charm. Housekeeping left something to be desired- our first room had no toilet paper and a non working toilet. They couldn’t fix it and didn’t follow up until we asked again. We were moved to a different room, this time with no balcony....
