"Alice is one of the most kindest hosts I’ve ever met. Going above and beyond does not begin to cover the words needed to describe the experience Alice provided. Before we even arrived, she woke up out of her sleep to assist me. I hadn’t realized the time difference and she still woke up to with some requests needed. She arranged our transportation, she personally took me on a tour guide to the best places in the city near the town’s most known archeological church. Then took me to get some authentic pizza, handmade gelato, and local wine. I mention this because she knew the area and knew transportation was difficult and wanted us to have food for the night. She woke up early and prepared a beautiful and tasteful breakfast for my friends and me. And packed our luggage while we ate said breakfast. I cannot begin to thank her enough for the kindness shown because she turned a day or horrific issues that she did NOT cause into a beautiful night and morning. She’s not just a host, she’s an experience and everyone should stay with her. Thank you for the kindness and generosity you’ve shown us Alice. You are truly one of a kind. "

"Absolutely amazing stay during our bikepacking trip through Italy and Slovenia. We arrived at the hotel way before the check-in started, but the staff members were super helpful and allowed us to leave our bicycles in a safe area while waiting for the room to be ready for us. This has allowed us to start exploring the town, before returning to the hotel. The room was spacious, freshly renovated, beautifully furnished and with fantastic tea/coffee facilities. We loved the huge, comfortable bed, the air conditioning was also a blessing on this hot day & night. We were apprehensive about the virtual reception, online check-in, but in the end all went well, and the receptionist with whom I spoke on the phone was super helpful and friendly. "This property looks great from outside but it needs a full renovation badly. It felt like walking into a hotel in the early 90s. Carpets in the rooms are worn out and faded. Staff don’t show a lot of enthusiasm for what they do.
Housekeeping was the worst. Upon arrival I noticed duvets were not very clean. A lot of hair on and in the duvet. I had to ask for them to be replaced. The shampoo and body wash container in the bathroom was empty throughout my stay. I travel with my own so didn’t need it but was waiting for housekeeping to noticed. I even tipped the cleaner one day hoping they’ll do a bit extra but no improvements.
Although rooms were cleaned daily, staff did not change used glasses throughout the room even if they had wine from the day before.
The casino, coffee shop, and location is all this property has going for it.
