Beds are a bit hard and the bathroom was located across the hall, which was a bit inconvenient. It also gets quite noisy with the busy road just outside. "A shout out to the front desk staff, he was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is very well situated in the lovely village . Great cafes and restaurants . The breakfast selection was good . The only you should be aware of if the road closes from cortina to san Vito at 8:00 PM, the front desk made us aware of that , but we missed the deadline, so we had to do 1hour and half detour to get back to the village . We were 4 km away only . "

The views are amazing from right there in front of the hotel and it’s a short walk to the dolomiti bus if you’re headed up to Rifugio Auronzo for one of the iconic hikes. The staff did their best to help us download the app for bus tickets and buy them, but we had trouble getting it to work, so I recommend walking to the bus stop-they sell tickets right there, and then do the Cadini di Misurina hike!!!! "We loved staying at this hotel. It’s a 25 minute drive from Cortina city but the location is very lovely and quaint. The staff (servers especially) are wonderful and my husband said the pizza was the best he had in Italy (we ate pizza every day for 2 weeks). They offer gelato and there’s a cold spring water fountain across the road from the hotel, but if you’re anticipating wanting other snacks, best to pick up when you’re in a bigger town / before you head back to hotel."
