"The property was a luxurious haven in a most unexpected place. The grounds were a dream with two pools and water front seating. Our room was small but comfortable with a lovely bathroom that included a walk in shower. Breakfast was included in our room rate. It was good, however there weren’t many non meat or dairy options. We had an afternoon snack at the bar. Don’t order the pizza it’s dreadful. "

"We booked from 17 th July to 27th .Many comments here did not do the hotel justice. They criticised the hotel for being outdated whilst this is the theme of the hotel(70’s), it reminds you of beautiful memories. The location is great, you have underground free parking, most hotels in Europe now charge you a daily rate of €14 euros per night. The staff are amazing, from the reception , great lady who did our room, the staff at breakfast, always have a smile, the breakfast is great especially the coffee. Always 2 cappuccinos first then 2 espresso’s. The restaurant is also great. Great holiday, if I do come back to Sardinia, I will book at this hotel without hesitation. Grazie mille. Tarik"

"We were in Cagliari for just a couple of days and wanted a hotel where we could walk into the city center, but also one that was quiet. Bingo. The property is beautiful and includes a nice outside area where you can eat or just relax. Rooms are well designed. Staff was helpful. Parking is where you can find it, but staff helped us get a nearby spot. "

"Very friendly, welcoming staff. Lobby was spacious with lots of seating for guests while waiting for cocktails from the bar or while waiting to be seated to eat a meal in the on-site restaurant. The amenities were ample and easily accessible to the guests. The property was close to the airport, but in a noisy, dirty, unsafe industrial area. It was not conducive for walking into town or anywhere else. Perhaps a free or very affordable hotel shuttle service for hotel guests to and from the airport would help? 😎"

"The hotel is in a gem of a location! We travelled by public transport & on arriving from airport it was a 10 minute walk from train station Bus station equally close & bus stop for Poetta beach across the way. We successfully travelled to Pula, Nora, Villasimius and San Sperate all on the bus. Should add when time to go home, hotel arranged taxi to airport at a cost to us of 30 euros The Hotel entrance is tucked away on side street & outside is nice pizza place, brilliant bar & the best ice cream parlour ever! Staff at the hotel very nice. Breakfast is as you would expect. Our room was on 3rd floor overlooking street & harbour. Street is busy but no road noise when window closed & aircon works a treat! Very happy with our stay at Hotel Aristeo"

"We stayed for 4 nights. Everyone was very friendly at the hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Lovely location with picturesque views over the ocean. Suggestions: the rooms don’t have coffee facilities, so we bought a travel kettle and our own coffee etc. "

"Great property walking distance to the Navigli area in Milan. The check in staff was so helpful and friendly, and gave great recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is up to date, beautiful spacious room, and is on a quiet street, but walking distance to the canal in Navigli area where all the restaurants and terraces are. Highly recommend!"

"The Best Hotel Residence Italia is a great option if you're planning on visiting Cagliari and Quartu Sant Elena, or even for a stop over before moving on to other places in sout east Sardinia. It's super close to the Poetto beach, you can either walk there (15 minutes) and see the beatiful flamingos in the lagoon or take a bus (bus stop across the street) and get there in less than 3 minutes. The hotel is modern and clean. Our room was spacious and spotless as well as super quiet. There are many didining options within walking distance, and the breakfast buffet was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back :) "

"Needed a night in Cagliari before taking the Grimaldi Lines ferry to Naples and blindly, with no reviews though a huge fan of DH Lawrence novels/poetry, booked this hotel and glad did. Super close to all area attractions, beautiful large hotel room, and a highlight of a rooftop bar with city & port views. Highly recommended and grazia melle for it all. "

"Most amazing stay in central Cagliari! Upgraded to a room with a terrace, tons of space including kitchen, lounge, 2 bathroom and bedroom. Rooftop is a beautiful space for all guests and wonderful easy breakfast. Hosts were also very kind and helpful (WhatsApp texts, restaurant recs). I wish I stayed longer than 1 night! The interior felt like a proper beach home "

"The rooms were spacious and clean. We were guest in June and it wasn't crowded at all. The location is great, very close to Pula, Chia and Tuerredda beaches. A few things they could improve: - Parasol on the swimming pool could be bigger, and there is not enough shade overall. - I would have appreciated more local cured meat and cheese at breakfast. - Lunch and dinner are not worth the price consodering many other local eateries nearby with better value for money and choice."

"This was a lovely property all the conveniences but with old world charm! They went above and beyond, from doing laundry, scheduling taxi’s excellent friendly staff! I could not have asked for a better experience. If we ever come back we will stay again! Will definitely recommend. "
