Hotels in Reykholar

"There are basically two hotels in this village. My room (shared bath) was very small with two twin beds: I had to place my suitcase on the other bed. The shower was in a separate room, but I would have preferred having a shower mat ... I wore my flipflops. The breakfast was good, typical fare (hard boiled eggs, cereal, bread/jam/ham/cheese) but no vegetables (tomato or cucumber). I appreciated the coffee/tea being available until midnight, and the outdoor patio off the breakfast area was enjoyable. Perfectly acceptable for a one-night stay."

"Loved our stay here. The staff were excellent - both Mossy at check in and Artruro our Polish waiter for dinner. The food was fabulous. We were able to walk to a close-by waterfall which was fun. Lots of birds around. They had a sauna and hot tub but it kept raining so we did not utilize it. Although this place seems to be in the middle of nowhere, it was amazing! Really liked it and would highly recommend to other travelers. The road was a bit rough but honestly, we drove on much worse in Iceland. "

"This a lovely place to stay in a fairly remote area. Beautiful views of the fjord and surrounding mountains. There are dining options and a shared kitchen on top of the basic kitchen in your room."

"The resort is excellent and lo ates right on the ocean. Had a few issues getting in to our room since its off season, staff is not onsite, and we were to let ourselves into our room. Some other people staying in the same building as us also left the common areas messed up. A quick phone call resolved all our issues and the resort upgraded us to a larger room because of the mess. In the end glad we chose the place and would recommend it to others."
