"Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the Hook Norton brewery. Thee pub does not serve food but the brewery cafe a short walk away served an amazing breakfast from 8:30 and the other pub in the village served evening meals most evenings."

"Cosy setting, lots of amenities in the property. Would’ve been nice to have met the owner when checking in (met him upon checking out) but otherwise really nice stay. Will happily stay there again. "

"The room was comfortable and clean. Nice selection of tea and coffee, fridge and microwave.
Bed comfy, room warm.
The breakfast is lovely, lots of choice.
The staff were really lovely, helpful and friendly.
The city centre is walkable.
I'd advise you use the park and ride if you are driving to Oxford, very reasonable and easy to use. No street parking.
We enjoyed our stay and reccomend Ethos Hotel."

"We booked our stay through hotels.com. Check in was easy even though we arrived at 11pm.
The building is old so has a lot of character and some of the old sash windows require attention but secondary glazing made the room comfortable.
The room was fully equipped with everything we needed so no complaints.
The breakfast suited us but some may find the choice a little limited compared to a large hotel.
The main English cooked breakfast was one of the largest ever received - make sure you’re...

"Lovely Victorian style hotel with a comfortable room. Everything very clean and tidy. Reception service was efficient and friendly. Service in the bar was disappointing since we only had two drinks and the bar staff managed to do something wrong on both. The cooked breakfast would have been much better had the food been hot or even warm. The selection of foods on offer was very good. "

"Oxford Artist Residence is the perfect country getaway! We live in Oxford so even just the short drive felt like an escape and as soon as you step into the hotel and it’s outstanding pub restaurant you feel relaxed! Even in January where pubs and restaurants might seem quiet or lifeless this was not the case at AR. Obviously quieter than December but it had a warm ambience, lovely cosy evening atmosphere with delicious food served by friendly and helpful staff. A lovely mix of guests and local...

"We had an amazing stay at Minster Mill! The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating and made our stay especially enjoyable. We visited with our three young sons and they loved exploring the grounds and playing outside. It was a beautiful property and very welcoming to our family."
