Lyme Regis is a fantastic place to visit. Lovely shops, fascinating history, beautiful countryside, walks, fossil hunting, art and crafts plus beautiful restaurants/hotels; the Brewery quarter, the Alexandra hotel ( I had an amazing meal there).

Our Granddaughter especially liked the sandy beach by the Cobb. Plenty of places to get food and snacks while on the beach. Easy parking. We have been visiting Lyme Regis since the 1980's and now making memories with our Granddaughter.

Even with cool and rainy weather Lyme Regis was still beautiful and sparkling
"We had a great stay at The Hideaway. It was the quietest place I think I've ever stayed. It had everything we needed for a week away.
Lyme Regis is only a couple of miles away if you're into fossils, or beaches. Only a short walk, but it's a bit of climb on the way back."
"A very nice small hotel full of character and in a beautiful setting and convenient to lyme regis. See and countryside views from the room. Lovely gardens. Friendly owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had eventing we needed... the owners checked in with us at breakfast each morning. The 3 course table service breakfast was selectable from a menu. Classy but not pretentious. "
"Absolutely loved our stay.

Staff amazing especially Andy where nothing was to much .

"Great location at the quieter end of Lyme right next to the Cobb, harbour and beach. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and hardworking. The food was good too. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy with a pint overlooking the harbour."
"Very friendly, both at check in and at breakfast. As I had a single room, it was lovely to be able to sit for a while in the gardens & residents lounge. Parking on site was a real bonus. The property is in a quiet street and only a 10 minute walk to the sea front"
