It is dated. The rooms could do with modernising, but it is what it is.
Staff are amazing and couldn't do enough for you. I felt like they were quite overworked and had a few jobs rather that being 'receptionist' or 'bar staff'. The bar is very reasonably priced and there is an outside area to sit in.
