"Old style boozer with rooms above in a bit of a ram-shackle state. Very basic and in a state of disrepair in parts. Bathroom door only on by one hinge, bathroom with bare plaster board and lots of tools and cleaners trolleys in the hallways and a strange diy metal fire escape. Was unable to re enter the hotel to get something we forgot when we left early one morning. Despite this it was a cheap and cheerful place to stay. "

"The pub is “tired” and caters mostly for workmen. There isn’t any hot food available (no breakfast availability) only sandwiches later in the day. Hosts didn’t have our booking as they don’t use Hotels.com and treat emails from them as “spam”. There wasn’t any Wi-Fi, free or otherwise and the room wasn’t serviced during our stay. Strangely we were told not to drink the tap water although we don’t know why."

"I loved this hotel. It’s a short walk from Victoria station and has beautifully presented common areas and breakfast room. Staff were warm and friendly and I was really happy to stay her as a female solo guest. Rooms were clean, simple and had everything you needed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, it feels like excellent value for money in this part of central London "

"It is a small room, but it is comfortable and has everything you need for a 1 or 2 night stay and is good value for money for a Central London location. Everything worked, including the air conditioning unit, and whilst the room was small, the bathroom was a very decent size."

"Good for solo travellers- only book a room with no window if you understand that you are getting a very small but fully functional space. Good for short stays and was priced accordingly "

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel as it was local to all the stores in theaters. We had a wonderful time and the rooms are very clean and accommodating. Thank you "
"It was such a lovely hotel all round. The hotel was spotless. All the staff were very helpful. You could not fault breakfast time, there was everything you could think of to eat and drink. I am very pleased I chose this hotel for our break."
"Immediately walking in we were greeted with low lighting, calm atmosphere and friendly staff. We were a group of 6, 3 adults and 3 children staying for just one night and wished we could have stayed longer. The area around the hotel is so crowded and loud but you feel like you are on a different planet once inside. We had a cocoon 8 room with 2 double bunks. The beds were so comfortable, everything was so clean and the bathroom was top notch!! Once we all came in for the night and turned off the lights the room was dark and we were able to get the best sleep we have had in a week!! If we come back to London we will be staying here again!!!"
"Very good, especially for the price. The location is ideal for walking to the store or eating places. The dining area is quite pleasant. Friendly staff."
"Perfect service. Ready to help and respond to all your concerns personnel. Convenient location: away from overcrowded streets and yet close to main attractions."
"Booked last minute. On arrival the staff were excellent, polite, very helpful, they stored our bags for us. Went into London, underground station just 5 minutes away direct line to central London, very convenient. Or an easy walk to Chelsea harbour pier and we got the Uber boat up to embankment. Room was clean, well stocked for an overnight stay, aircon was great. Breakfast was easy and plenty of choice. Would book this hotel again without question next time we are in London."
"Great location with nuce views either to the marina or the Tower Bridge. Easy access to the Underground. Friendly cleaning staff. It's quiet at night for good sleep."
"Great hospitality! Our room was very clean and the staff was very courteous and accommodating! The hotel is located in a very quaint and safe neighborhood and only a ten minute walk to Paddington station and five minutes to the 94 bus. Highly recommended !!!!!"
"The lication was superb for all of the sites, within 10 minute walk of Big Ben and the view from the Japanese restaurant is phenomenal! The food was also very good. We will always sray at this hotel when in London. Great perk if you choose to not have your room cleaned they give you a bottle of wine!!!"
Leonardo Royal Hotel London City - Tower of London

"We were allocated a beautiful spacious room with a balcony with amazing city views. The staff were attentive and friendly. Perfectly located and we can’t wait to come back. "
"I love the vibe in this hotel – it feels really comfortable and welcoming. The room is a great size with plenty of storage space, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful."
"Despite my worry the whole location was nicely air-conditioned. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the amenities were great. The location can't be better -- a walking distance to many major tourist locations and literally co-located with an Underground station that connects to all major locations easily."
"The hotel is in good condition and very clean. I felt the lobby to be cozy and inviting. The room and bathroom were on the small side but clean, modern and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable ones among the 3 hotels we stayed in during our recent trip to Europe. The staff was friendly and kind. There are different options neaby to grab a bite and an inexpensive, small but well stocked supermarket. Definitely recommend this hotel! "
