"This hotel looks rather old from the outside, the reception area is in a 80's style, but this impression stops there. The rooms are newly refurbished and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is also very satisfactory.

"What a lovely hotel! We only stopped for one night but could clearly see that this would be a relaxing setting for a longer stay. We particularly appreciated the courtyard area with many tables for enjoying a drink, take-out meal, or board game with a family. Excellent location close to vineyards, Blois and Orleans. Bike or take a run on the beautiful grounds or take a peaceful walk through the Forrest. Perfect for dog lovers. "This was the next to last stop on a 2 week road trip to northern France.....Loire Valley, land of castles and chateaux. After much research, my husband found this gem next to the river. We stayed in one of the original buildings that had been modernized, but still had charm and character of the past with exposed, rustic beams and plaster work.
The restaurant/bistro was modern with indoor/outdoor dining, a diverse French menu and excellent wine list. The staff was well versed, efficient and very friendly."
