"My husband & I had an absolutely wonderful time at Le Clos des Anges ! Gael & Sofie were so welcoming and went over & above, especially when we had a minor health issue to ensure we found appropriate medical care.
They speak English quite well & we felt grateful as we were in their county speaking limited French.
The amenities were pristine, and Gael delivered a delicious French breakfast daily which we enjoyed in the gorgeous courtyard. Gael provided a website when checking in of local restaurants and activities. The restaurants were amazing and we went to Terrasses de Pommiers twice - it was excellent!!!
Our room was very very spacious, and the bathroom as well with double sinks & extensive counter space.

We had dinner delivered the last night via Gael’s resturant connections and it was hot & tasty.
The location in the heart of the vineyards was stunning,
yet easily accessible to many nearby villages and restaurants.
This is an extraordinary stay in Bagnols, and we plan to return again with family & friends as it is also perfect for groups !

"Definitely motel-like, I wouldn’t call it a hotel but maybe this is a hotel in Lyon? It’s okay. I had my two nights traveling in between countries and it was safe, the shower was good and the bed was clean & comfortable. I really didn’t expect it to be so far away from anything (thank goodness for the bus & train).
There were these red stains on the carpet, the toilet seat was a bit loose and over all, a bit of a strange fit for that toilet but, there you go! Some peeling at the baseboards but otherwise, fine.

"This is the best place we have stayed on the 15 days of Europe travel. After choosing to stay in city centers we decided to stay in the country. This place is dead quiet, bed very comfortable, breakfast enjoyable, staff awesome, very clean and modern. It's a small place but everything was perfect and ease of use. We will be back to this little gem again soon. We would have stayed longer to explore the area with our bikes but we had to catch a flight home from Paris. Excellent bakery near by."
"This place is not as advertised. No air conditioning or fans in 40c heat, filth covered mattresses and walls. Gardens overgrown and pathways a huge health and safety issue with holes and trip hazards everywhere, dark walk ways with no lights as staff can’t be bothered to replace them. The staff sit outside drinking whilst this place has fallen in to significant dis-repair. We actually contemplated sleeping in our car as it would have been more comfortable. This place is a hell hole and needs to knocked down. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!"
