"Beautiful old property. Lovely views of sunset over the bay from terrace. Very comfortable bed. A lot of stairs to climb to our room and no handrails. Also steep climb up to hotel.

"It's a unique place, not a traditional hotel. A very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Nice to retreat from noise and get some time to relax.
Rooms are cozy and nicely decorated, however they miss some practical details in the bathroom like hangers and a spot to place your own toiletries. Pool and SPA area are nice also the green common areas. "

"This property is only steps away from the beach and the walkways into both directions of the fallaises.
It is opposite a gorgeous medieval house with a good restaurant and other dining options around.
The staff was super friendly and the breakfast met our expectations.

"This hotel was very good. Tidy clean and well presented.
Decent breakfast.
Room was good enough for a short stay.
Had to wait until 4pm before we were allowed into the hotel as the reception was closed until that time.
Close to sea front and harbour. Five minutes drive.

"This cozy little hotel is in a great location right next to the promenade. I slept well. It is exceptionally soundproof. I have never seen such heavy, tightly fitted doors. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was mold in the bathroom. And my room had no bathtub. Just a shower."

friendly. Good breakfast. However the place is difficult to find (no sign on door). It's a guest house and not a hotel so check in is between 4-6pm (which we were not told in advance). The owner was in a rush to go to an appointment when checking in, which isn't a great way to greet guests. So overall a good stay but service was lacking especially for the very high price we paid. Parking is very tight as well and charged 10Euros/night on top of...

"We stayed here for one night on our way to the Normandy beaches. The Chateau and grounds are stunning however there was no atmosphere and the staff were not very welcoming on arrival or helpful. The breakfast was at best mediocre and it was almost as if you weren’t allowed to talk or make any kind of noise in the breakfast room/restaurant."

"I wouldn’t say it’s a 5 star hotel, no more than 4. The building is beautiful, no elevator so you have to bring your baggage upstairs yourself on stairs. Keep that in mind. And most importantly there is no Air conditioning! It’s hot in the summer , was very humid when we were there. The staff is nice, gave us a fan. Fan doesn’t help much. The view is deceiving too, it is a view of the sea but it is also a view of a modern sea
Port.
On the photos there is a small pool, it’s not working!...

"This was a really useful stop over for us. Good prices. Rooms small but adequate. Our bed had a good mattress but my grown up son had a very lumpy mattress and found it hard to sleep on it. Staff lovely. Hated the dominant turquoise colour in the room- but that is personal preference! Needed more body wash in room. Bottles tiny , Also more drinks sachets would have been useful. Location perfect. Safe parking. Very

"Was a pleasant stay. Breakfast was excellent and it was surprisingly quiet at night. I had an incident that was handled very well by the front staff. Can’t thank them enough!"
