It is decorated in the old style and when we stayed it was Easter time and they’d decorated in a cute and playful way

"Good location, fun hotel. Bit of a hiccup at check-in when we’re told we’d been upgraded to a ‘wow’ room. Turned out it was a very dark disabled room in the ground floor which had a bathroom complete with toilet grab rails. Asked to go back to our original booked room in the ‘cosy’ category and got a really nice room on the 6th floor with huge windows. The vibe of the hotel is good and we liked the little touches like popcorn and a free drink for skipping room cleaning. Sound proofing isn’t...

"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly.
Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal!
The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere.
