Bathroom was dated and had a huge shower curtain that covered half the bathtub and no hooks to hang anything in the bathroom. We enjoy the typical German style of a family owned, host on site experience... and the breakfast is good! Excellent location too. Bochum town centre is only a few minutes away on the frequent tram which stops nearby. Would recommend Haus Vocke to anyone!"

"Located on a reststop, check-in is in the gas station. The staff didn't speak English but we made it work. As a guest of the hotell you get a 25% discount on food at the reststop. Parking is behind the hotel in a secluded parking space. The hotel and rooms where very clean, fresh and quiet. Perfect as an overnight stop while traveling."
