"I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the venue in which I was there to attend. I was pleasantly surprised by Victor who was very helpful. As for the room, I am used to a much bigger space, but I know German hotels are typically much more conservative, so it was what I expected. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot! It would have been nice to have an extra towel (people with long hair need 2 towels), but it was not a big deal.

"I was very happy with my large bed, not two twins pushed together. I'm 6' tall. Loved my lakefront terrace. I was there for a concert, and I felt very safe walking to/from by myself. Loved the vibe of this area of Germany. Only complaint is I was there during a heatwave, and I had to leave my door open for cooler air at night. Great breeze, but privacy was limited."

"The gate to get in was not working , we buzzed maybe 20 times and they just kept buzzing it but it wouldn’t open. You would think that after a few times they might think something was wrong. But no. "What a fab hotel! My room was basic, but spacious and comfortable, lots of storage. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Situated in a great, old building, just a short walk to the U-Bahn station, five minutes to the centre of Hannover. "

"This hotel was very reasonably-priced, so I was very pleasantly surprised by the standard, especially such a nice location not far from the main station. Friendly helpful staff.
Good to find a suitcase stool ready, so its easy to find what you want quickly! (None of the other hotels I've stayed in on this trip have offered this).
Perfectly nice breakfast the next morning too. I definitely recommend the Atlanta for someone who doesn't want to spend too much and doesn't expect high-end furnishing etc. You can hear the trains - not too much - but if that bothers you, you can close the window at night and there is no outside sound at all. I'd happily stay at the Atlanta again."

Rooms are a little dated, no a/c, but we were comfortable nonetheless. Cannot say enough about the restaurant and bar because it was a huge surprise. The two best meals we had on a week-long trip throughouth northern Germany and service was outstanding."
