"The hotel is centrally located with great access to restaurants and only a 10-15 min walk from west lake. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty western options.
It is attached to the merry shopping centre which is really handy also and a good landmark making the hotel easy to find. "

"The hotel is located in the new Hangzhou cbd so it was extremely quiet on weekends. The nearest metro station was a mere 5 mins away on foot, and you will pass by 2 convenience stores and some small eateries along the way as well. The hotel itself seemed new. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Service was amazing from the efficient check in, to the thoughtful room service staff who left us extra bottles of water everyday, along with a cheery note which warmed our hearts. The hotel also...

"The room has a musky and moldy bad smell. TV was not working properly. Did mention to staff about the smell, they offered 2 other rooms and all were equally smelly. Took one that I thought smell the least but turns out the whole night it just got worst. Sheets were very moist, so uncomfortable and smelly. Couldn’t sleep as I had hard time breathing, the smell was just so bad. Had diarrhea after dining at the only restaurant available there. Saw cockroach in the room. For alila standard, this is...

"The staffs were extremely helpful and friendly. They provided a warm service to us during our entire stay.
The mattress was really comfortable that if you get out of the bed you won't disturb your partner at all. We loved it!
Location is also good that it's within a short taxi ride to major train stations and famous places or interest.
Breakfast selection is overwhelmingly huge - we felt that we were spoilt with the choices.
We will definitely return next time we are in Hangzhou.
