Our two small dogs enjoyed the room as well.
One small downside is that the GPS took us down some country lanes, some unmade, whereas there was a much more direct route. Not the fault of the owners though."

One thing, the windows open outwards with the opening starting only 6 inches from the floor on the third floor with a nothing to stop someone falling out.

The architecture and interior of the building are adorned with beautiful sculptures and the natural surroundings reminded us of trips to Breacon but ramped up several notches. "Our room overlooked a noisy busy main road and there was a railway line behind the hotel. There was no air conditioning in our room.
We were told the bar would not open until 8.30. We couldn't book a table in the restaurant because a coach party was booked in but if there was room they would try to fit us in. There were no alternatives within walking distance.
The photos of the hotel are very misleading. I wouldn't be surprised if they had been photo-shopped!"
