"Lovely hotel in the centre of Ávila. Comfy bed and the room had great A/C which was needed in the heat.
The staff we met were all very nice and friendly.
Breakfast was good for setting us up for the day.
We parked in a car park just outside the city walls about a five minute walk from the hotel.
Would recommend if staying in Ávila."

"Another very enjoyable weekend stay in one of my favourite hostals! Same lovely friendly staff gave me the quiet rear room I requested. Much appreciated as there was a very noisy (but enjoyable) street festival over the 2 days! This is a very traditional, spotlessly clean Spanish hostal in an older (1888) building but everything is well maintained with great shower and new furniture. Slap bang in the historic centre so can walk everywhere. 30 minutes on foot from the train and bus terminals. Highly recommend for value!"
"The place was clean and safe as well as the area. They allowed me to leave my luggage. WiFi worked great. The provided towels, shampoo and body gel. Bed was comfortable. I’m not sure if it had AC, I did see a heater. Since I didn’t need AC I didn’t look for it. Many of the things to see are within short distance. "

"Outstanding quaint little mountain town with just a couple of bars, restaurants and small places to stay. Narrow cobblestone streets and tight parking. Very quiet and peaceful. Nice little restaurant below the hotel both run personally by the owner who is happy to chat, provide helpful service, and tailor meal times to your activities. Nice older stone, brick, beam, mortar and concrete buildings. This accommodation is jus a few rooms redone completely in modern style but retaining the old beams and wood floors / heavy doors. Very quiet, very modern, very comfortable, very pleasant with a genuinely friendly proprietor. Little restaurant has 6 or 7 tables and a small bar with very attentive service. Highly recommend! Larger town with all needs is only ten minutes down the hill on a steep and windy road. Very picturesque!"
"It’s a very affordable and attractive option if your in Ávila close to the city walls we are here in October and it’s quite cold 43 degrees outside there are restaurants and cafes within walking distance this hostel is perfect for a couple and a family holiday the owners sister was very kind to us and helped sort out the heating system for us "
