The grounds near our room were more like a waste yard. Rusting is apparent all over the room. No coffee facilities, no glasses provided in the room. Nothing. No ironing board on site. The owners, Alberto and his wife Miki, were excellent hosts, contacting me directly before my arrival with detailed directions for parking and check-in. The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace and serves delicious homemade breakfasts. There is also an honesty bar with drinks and snacks. The location is ideal, tucked away in a quiet spot in the heart of the village, just a one-minute walk from the main square. All in all, I found it perfect."

"We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner here, but a stay is lovely. Would return for a good price."

We had a few problems the air conditioning wasn't working so it was 27° in our room and very hot in our friends room also the jacuzzi bath didn't work. Some of the furniture needs tidying up.
