"It was fine for one night stay. Would not return considering price vs value. Small rooms with wall-to-wall carpets that needs a deep clean. The hallway outside the rooms had no lighting, so finding the keyhole at night was challenging. Cobwebs and spiders in the ceiling and over the corridor entrance. The property in general is not very well kept. Needs gardening, paintjobs and upgrades here and there. Everything is falling apart. It was also a strange ambiance in the bar/restaurant area. I came in to order a glass of wine and found 4-5 young people hanging in and around the bar. Apparently all staff. One girl is standing inside the bar cleaning glasses, so naturally I ask her for a wine glass. One of the boys hanging outside the bar then jokingly tells me she is not a waiter. He gets the wine himself while the rest if the staff whispers and giggles as I wait. I ended up asking for a bottle of Morgon and two glasses and when he is opening the bottle he asks if I want to taste it, before I could answer I got a comment of "how I probably do not want to taste the wine anyway", which was strange to me. We ate dinner in the restaurant later and it was the same staff. The food was fine, but the service was lack luster. Our table got little to zero attention. Maybe because we are not French. We stay in the area every year and used the Logis hotel in Fleurie last year and Château de la Barge previous years, they are a lot better and within the same price range. "

"Just a one night stop over with spa access, what a treat. Nice big rooms, nice staff and the spa is an added experience. Would highly recommend this hotel. My only advice if your male and not used to the French customs you cannot wear swimming shorts with pockets in the pool / spa area. We had to buy some thin Nilon material swimming shorts what they sell onsite, we just went up 2 sizes so they looked like shorts and not skin tight (or you can wear speedos if you want) "

"The facility and room were nice. A couple of things to consider - it is out of the Lyon city center and takes a bit to get to. Also there are limited options for dining in the area. Construction was going on behind the hotel that started early so that was pretty disruptive, but not something in the hotel's control. Staff were very friendly and helpful. And there was a laundry right across the street!"

"Our one night stay was very enjoyable. It is a no frills hotel with everything you need for a cosy stay. Bar staff were helpful and could help us when we needed assistance. "

"Definitely motel-like, I wouldn’t call it a hotel but maybe this is a hotel in Lyon? It’s okay. I had my two nights traveling in between countries and it was safe, the shower was good and the bed was clean & comfortable. I really didn’t expect it to be so far away from anything (thank goodness for the bus & train). There were these red stains on the carpet, the toilet seat was a bit loose and over all, a bit of a strange fit for that toilet but, there you go! Some peeling at the baseboards but otherwise, fine. Not a 5 ⭐️ place or stay but it did the job and the staff were friendly 😁"

"Great Hotel with staff that know how to add value to a stay. A little out of the City but 5 mins walk to Metro that puts the City Centre minutes away. Good neighbourhood. Breakfast included isreally good too. I cant fault the place."

"I have stayed at different Appartcity locations in the past and enjoyed them. I was suprised at the run-down condition of this one and the lack of basic kitchen stuff. Cutting board and knife? Salt maybe? Lots of furniture in shoddy shape and lots of weird brown splotches on the wall (dead bugs?). The bed was weirdly uncomfortable - super hard foam, hard enough to cut off circulation in my arms, which slowly sunk over the night to end up being both way too soft and still super hard. Otherwise, location was good, staff was nice, and it was ok for a basic stay."
