The owner is a very friendly & nice guy, it looked to us like he is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a good job.
The thing that is letting it down is the breakfast , it was of poor quality and the breakfast room isn't very welcoming.
This has all the makings of a great place once a few things are tweaked."

"Good location but extemely noisy rooms. Paper thin walls and door. The hotel was not fullt booked and we asked for a quiet room but we were still placed in between other visitors.
Otherwise good. We would recommend this motel for all visitors that are not sound sensitive."

"The place was quiet, clean and comfortable. Actually, great overall, the only negative thing I could complain about was the very strong smell of cleaners in the room. We had to open the windows and turn the a/c on for a few hours before the smell was actually bearable to stay in the room. This is not good when you are allergic to scents!! We would definitely stay again, but would ask to view the room beforehand to make sure there was no strong smell of cleaners."

We did stay there on out way to Cabot trail it was a little out of the way but excellent option for our kids to run around and enjoy the property after being away for over a week and a half. They enjoyed the basketball net, pickle ball court. We also enjoyed a concert at the restaurant that night as an added surprise. Excellent view and clean. "
"The studio apartment was well maintained, spacious and clean with the most adorable seaside decor. Good air flow. Enjoyed the indoor jaccuzi hot tub at the end of the day. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. The 180 degree view to the east of the Atlantic ocean from the back veranda was stunning! I enjoyed sitting on the comfy our door furniture having coffee. Four course meat, fish, or vegetarian or 8 course combination of fish and meat. We had the meat first night and fish second night. Both delicious, imaginative, and portion sizes perfectly adequate (probably need to work up an appetite for the 8 course). The staff were very friendly and well informed about the area. Breakfast also excellent. And ingredients largely sourced locally."
