"Everything was fantastic apart from we got bitten by insects. They were in the room. I had to get medication for that. And I thought swimming pool was included but I found out I have to pay for it. Bed was good and amenity were great. Interest access was ok! "

"Close to the station and pretty quiet. I ended up getting the king room so space was plenty ample for a solo traveler, and I appreciated the extra bed space too. Never had any issues with anything during my stay"

"It’s very clean and well kept! This hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the central part of Kyoto like Gion Kawaramachi so you can save on taxis as well. Didn’t use the subway so not sure how accessible it is from that POV. I recommend :) "

"Seems like a new hotel - quite clean and nice. Staff spoke English and were helpful. Comfortable-sized room - not tiny. Had coffee all day and water, tea, and snacks in evening. Have a nice dining area where could sit. Train across street and bus stop out front. Kyoto station in walking distance. Good bakery next door and convenience stores and restaurants close by."

"We had stayed at 3 other hotels in Japan and by far the customer service was fantastic!! We were welcomed right away as we got out of our taxi and knowing it was a super hot day, we were given ice cold water bottles right away. There were chairs to relax in which was so nice. Interesting when we stayed at the Intercontinental in Tokyo there were so chairs to sit and signs everywhere stating not sit on the ledges. We were walked up to our room and when we asked for extra pillows/blanket the young lady brought them in less then a minute which usually sometimes takes hours to get. Big shoutout to the best concierge staff ever! One of the ladies helped schedule a hair cut appt for my daughter and myself which was super last minute. She really wanted to help us. And we got amazing cut/color within 5 min walking distance to hotel. The next mornign when asking again for help with getting to the airport on train the concierge helped outline everything on the subways and color coded it. Only downside is they don’t have a pool. Breakfast buffet was really good! Chef even came out to great everyone and to get feedback. "

"We love staying at the MONday Apart Premium hotels. We have stayed at the Kyoto location twice and the Akihabara location 3 times. Very clean, friendly service. Both locations are about a 10 minute walk from the station. We rely heavily on using the in-room washer/dryer combo to allow us to pack light for our trips. "

"This hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip in Japan. The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini. The rooms were great as the room and bathroom were more spacious and very clean. The public bath was also very nice and not very crowded during my stay. The staff were very helpful and welcoming which was nice. I ordered a luggage transfer from this hotel and the staff handled my luggage and paperwork for me which was great. I did not try any dining options so I have no comments on that. The hotel provided everything I would want and need in a hotel. Great rooms, price, amenities, location and service. I have no complaints with my stay here and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area."

"Great location and beautiful hotel, staff and service very helpful with English speaking staff to help with communication. Roof top deck is very nice though it was hot good place for a beer. Fitness room and laundry services. Close to the main attractions in the Gion district so easy to wake up and head on over. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Kyoto. "

"Was a great hotel. Room was a bit small and the worst part was the bed was too low to the floor so you couldn't store a suitcase closed underneath, I had to open mine and slide it under. Overall staff was nice and they helped ship our luggage to Osaka. Also directly across from the train was superior! So helpful and would stay here again."
