"We arrived early and they were really accommodating to get our room ready. Room was spacious and clean. Would have liked a fridge but being really picky. Only 5 minutes walk from the train station. Breakfast was nice and offered choice. Staff were friendly asking for directions. Free laundry which was an added bonus! The rooftop terrace was nice but couldn't enjoy due to the weather (raining)"

"We stayed for just one night in a standard room for two (without a balcony), and we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was incredibly spacious, with plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings — much more than we expected. The décor was simple and minimalistic, and although there was no mini bar, it didn’t take away from our comfort at all. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming. The facilities were another highlight — the swimming pool was a good size, and the sauna was a great way to unwind. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and quality. Given the very competitive price, the high standard of the hotel exceeded our expectations. It was only a short stay this time, but we’re already planning to come back for a longer visit to explore this beautiful region — and we’ll definitely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for both couples and families! "

"This was a lovely hotel. They do most of their business during the skiing months but we went in the summer. The views were amazing and they recommended the lift to the glacier at 10,000 feet. Amazing! The staff is super friendly and helpful...especially one young lady that's been there a couple of years (blonde curly hair, sorry can't remember her name).She helped us with reservation choices, bus schedules and even got a a 50% off fair for the lift. "

"La Chamois is nestled in a truly stunning setting—mountains on all sides, towering pines, and that crisp alpine air that makes everything feel a bit more magical. The location alone is worth the stay, with trails and vistas just steps away. The hotel itself is charming and well-situated, though the walls are a bit thin, so light sleepers may want to pack earplugs. Still, it’s hard to complain when you wake up to views like that. Conveniently located close to the train station. Super friendly staff. "

"Worst hotel experience in decades of travel. Not as depicted in the description. Parking was a huge mess, had to park across town, dragging luggage a half mile on heavy hills to the hotel and upstairs. If elderly or with any mobility issues whatsoever, this would not have been possible. Not able to get in to eat, restaurant staff was overwhelmed and not helpful. Very, very basic hotel. The icing on top was the morning of checkout, there was no secure place to keep luggage while trekking back to the car, so that was a concern, and they gave me the wrong validation ticket. So, after the long walk and stressing about my luggage, I had difficulty even getting my car. Oh, and they’ll be beating on the door every 15 minutes from 0900 until you leave, although checkout is 1030. This is a hotel which should cater to the spa/relaxation crowd, but I left here much more stressed than I arrived. Switzerland is amazing and every other property I stayed at received 5 stars, but I’d steer clear from this one if you’re hoping for a peaceful vacation stay. "

"Returning to ski again in March 2025 after first time visit in Jan. Location is convenient with a short (steep) walk up to the red slope and bus outside to the blue slope. The ski shop is on ground floor. Apartments are new and very very warm."
