"Nice little hotel, which is an easy walk to the centre of Vannes. Breakfast was excellent and they provided gluten free bread and a nice little homemade granola bar. My only complaint is that I tried to contact the hotel both through Hotels.com and by email but they never replied. "

"It was the first and certainly the last time I will ever book another F1 hotel. The rooms are tiny, you have to share 5 toillets and 6 shower cabins with the entire floor (32 rooms). You have to buy the towels, a small bottle of water cost 1,60 € and a small cup of coffee 1,50. On this 5000km journey I have booked 18 hotels. F1 was the worst followed by Premier Class.... "

"Made welcome as soon as we entered the premises. Provided an extra chair for bedroom, when requested. Was always cheerful and particularly vigilant.

"This is an unusual place to stay but I really enjoyed it. It’s an old convent and some rooms are rented out. The rooms and facilities are quite simple but nevertheless good value, clean and functional. Staff are nice too. You can eat breakfast (basic) and a 3 course meal with wine and coffee for about 13 euros and it’s not bad! It’s in a great location by the marina. I would stay again. My only complaint is wifi is quite frankly nonexistent ( unless better in other rooms)"

"Thé history of the building and the very reasonable price of the room. Also it had ample, secure parking spaces and the location within walking distance of the beautiful, interesting centre of Vannes."

"These are beautiful and well appointed apartments with full kitchens and outside decks. They located a block from downtown and very convenient with on site parking. This was our second stay here and we highly recommend it !"

"Having booked and paid for everything whilst in the UK I did not expect another £40 bill at the end of 5 nights. This was part of an 18 day tour and it was only Campanile that imposed this charge. Needless to say I will not be staying with them again they work out to be £10 per night dearer for an inferior quality. BEWARE be very aware"

"Acceuil très chaleureux et sympathique. Les personnes sont très professionnelles. La chambre est confortable, propre. Je suis restée 2 nuits et la chambre a été faite entre les deux. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, le buffet offre bcp de possibilités. Situé face à la gare, j'ai pu attendre mon taxi dans le petit lounge a l'entrée."

"Reception were poor. We were asked to email arrival time, we did that for 3pm check in time. When we arrived we were told the room wasnt ready and would be 20 to 30 minutes, in fact it was over 90 minutes sitting in reception waiting. When youve been travelling all day it is the last thing you want. Apartment was fine, but the list of stripping the beds, etc,etc when you leave was not very pleasant. Would not return."

"When we checked in the room allocated although it had an opening window it didn't have air con, so the receptionist offered to move us, which we accepted,
The 2nd room allocated when we come to leave the room to go out & eat the door wouldn't lock, so onto the 3rd room.
This room was the same layout as room 2, just a little cleaner.
All room 2 lacked was for someone to brush or hoover the floor.
Apart from the numerous room changes our stay was great, it was just one of those things.

"The hotel turned out to be in an industrial zone on the edge of town. The garden I was expecting from the photos was a belt of trees between us and a major highway. However, the rooms were quiet. Also, we could see the traffic jam so we could time our departures for better traffic. The hotel management and workers were very friendly and helpful."
