When I pulled up to the hotel i was surprised that there wasn't really much of a lobby area but honestly, It wasn't needed. The rooms are very nicely appointed and I love that there was tile on the floor instead of cheap vinyl or carpet. No pool or no direct access to the beach didn't matter to us because we went in the winter. You can easily walk to the beach by walking to the park right next to the hotel building. Walking from hotel entrance to the beach took about 3 min literally.
