"Their recommendation of Juan Carlos as a taxi service made the trip for us.
He took us to Raquira and suggested a wonderful new terracotta park and the fossil museum. The next day he took us to the ancient observatory, Ponzo Azule, and an ostrich farm. The third day he drove us to San Gil. He was very patient waiting for us as we visited all the sites and offered explanations of the area. His rates are very resonable and cheaper and faster than taking the bus for 3 people.

"Stayed 3 nights. We had a reasonably spacious room with a Juliet balcony with partial view of the town and of the surrounding mountains. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. However, no windows - only balcony door and room was rather warm with no fan or air con.
Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Didn't much care for the dining area and there are no drinks or snacks available at the hotel.
