"Comfortable large units with two double beds.
Great breakfast
included but dinner was simple with few choices. Limited restaurants in the town.
Communication was limited--no map of area and no receipt for cash payment. Walked on short trail that had no signage or map and ran into what looked like an old Mayan stone house."

"Totem Beach Club is gorgeous . Very trendy vibe . Many places to sit and watch the ocean . Easy to walk to activities and the center .
I give it a lower rating because of the room. There was no bathroom in the room and no sink . Which can be very difficult at night especially for older people and little ones . The room didn’t have a writing desk. No coffee maker - the restaurant doesn’t open until 11:am. No tissue . It is about 15-20 minutes walking to the center for coffee and

"It's a unique experience to be in the middle of the jungle in an 18th century hacienda. It's a hotel to go and disconnect from the world and I think it is very good for adults, perhaps for families with children this is not the right hotel because it does not have amenities or areas for kids. The service was very good, the room was very clean and nice and the food in the restaurant was very good to me."

"A very well located historic property. Close to many restaurants, public squares, and museums. Great for exploring the city by walking or by short taxi rides. The staff was very helpful especially considering our Spanish was not very good."

"It’s a lovely property. Our room was large with attractive furnishings, and it had a huge outdoor area. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had three delicious meals served in very lovely spaces. The pools looked great but it wasn’t hot enough to swim. It is a very quiet, restful environment."
