"Good for a couple nights. Rooms very clean, but maintenance issues regarding bathroom door and chalking. Not enough outlets available to charge phone and hearing aids and still have lights plugged in. Both evenings heard nextdoor person talking loudly enough that I pounded on the wall to encourage him to quiet down. Pleasantly surprised that free breakfast included waffle maker, juices, coffee, tea, yogurt and Jimmy Dean sandwiches, cold cereal selections, and fresh fruit. Wish they had instant...

"We stayed here for 2.5 weeks. Cons first. The room was not fully clean upon check in. I stepped on a cannula on the floor within about 15 minutes of arriving. There was sugar and other detritus around the sides of the night stand. None of the alternate entry doors were ever locked to allow for entry with only keycards, so that felt very unsafe.
Pros: Housekeeping was great! We only had them clean our room about every third day, but they were quick and efficient. Breakfast wasn't amazing, but...

"Inn is on the National Historic Landmark list. Main house has wonderful character and charm. We had a room on the third floor with a small gas stove. They also have a restaurant and the food was outstanding. We expect to come back many times. Staff was friendly. "

"Second visit here…friendly folks, beautiful surroundings, comfy room, just off the AT. Breakfast (and the “Kitchen”/food truck) is as good as you’ve heard…AWESOME. We’ll be heading there again!"
