"We were pleased with our checkin, especially the receptionist’s welcome and willingness to have access to our room early. The room had an updated feel and the bathrooms glass shower doors worked well and looked lovely. The breakfast had multiple options and was spaced out to make for easy access to all choices. This is a lovely hotel and a great place to stay when in Charlottesville. "

"Really well located. Close to everything. What surprised and delighted us was the mixture of retro decor and comfort. We loved the vinyl albums and turntable. Music was spot on. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will stay again!!"

"Good spot with a distinct feeling from the corporate-style of hotel. More like a B&B cozy vibe. This of course means compromises like no room service or in-room fridge/mini bar/etc., and the turndown service timing was a mystery, so we returned from a day trip to an unmade bed/uncleaned room. Not the end of the world but not ideal (a great bath in the generous, comfortable tub quickly made the girlfriend happy again). The property is amazing with a wonderful little park area for a picnic/hammock...
