We thought we were going to be in a property surrounded by rice fields as per their website.
There is none of that at all.
When we arrived we were taken to the far eastern facing room, very small, facing a construction full on site and the back, a muddy empty land block.
When we opened the bathroom we were shocked to realise that the bathroom floor was fake grass…is this possible?
My Wife was horrified and was not even willing to walk on it. We expressed...

"Beautiful traditional Balinese villa with gorgeous carved timber furniture, including a majestic 4 poster bed. Large, spacious room and bathroom, with a decent sized balcony. Clean, classy and comfortable. This was clearly a 5 star property when it was first built 20 years ago, but has slightly aged. (Nothing to complain about) Perfect for couples/honeymooners!

I was comfortable enough but cleanliness wasn’t up to scratch. Had to ask for breakfast to be cleared. Everything a little outdated and damaged. One night the rnb club was unbearable loud till 1am and on the last day they sprayed fir mosquitos. This was fine but the Villa had cracks in every doorway so the fumes wafted in.
Staff however were very friendly and attentive. The place just needs a bit of love."
