"The location was ok, no real advantage in the winter. When I made the reservation I asked about the hot tub and was told it was in service year round. When we checked in on 1/28 we were early. There was a problem with hot water for some of the rooms and they relocated us. I asked at that time (2pm?) about the hot tub. I was told it was refilling. We went into town to watch our Lions play the 49ers. We returned around 7, the hot tub was filled but tepid, cool.. I inquired again and was...

"Such a fun experience especially if you love vintage architecture and unique things! Excellent friendly service, amazing breakfast, comfortable room. Really enjoyed the large claw foot tub in the Chemistry room and the game / reading room on the landing. Beautiful views out every window. Only put 4 stars b/c the mattress was extremely soft and the train came through several times during the night - fine if you’re a heavy sleeper. Ear plugs were provided. Would recommend and return!"
