"We had an amazing stay at the Podstine hotel- staff were very friendly and helpful throughout and the location is perfect if you want peace with a 20 minute walk into Hvar town for restaurants/ shops/ water taxis -one set of steps and rest on the flat promenade. Swimming was fantastic off jetty, ladders or stone steps so different options. Views were spectacular.

The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants.

Only 12 rooms means it’s quiet by the pool and you can always get a lounger, and the breakfast is quality and HUGE - we didn’t need it every day. Thank you!"
