"We stayed at Royal Sonesta from April 13-16.2025, The rooms were great , the bathroom had jacuzzi and it was not very much in an operational state . Lots of features were not working. May be remove jacuzzi and just add a simple shower ?
Breakfast in restaurant was great in terms of selections but service was sloppy.
The pool was great and the dinner in Aladdin restaurant near pool side was very poor. Cold Bread , frozen butter , lukewarm food. not worth the experience . Staff in Aladdin was...

"The location is great, friendly sevice. Free breakfast was great. $32 USD for 2 persons with free breakfast is a bargain. Nice view from the top floor to the city, the Nile river."

"Away from the hussle and bustle from east bank/downtown Luxor this gem is perfect for our trip. Located 15 minutes from the valley of the kings and the ferry across to Luxor city. Priceless breakfast by the pool. Super friendly staff. Could use a sign outside as we arrived in our rental car after dark. Friendly neighbour's came to the rescue after asking them directions. Without asking for a tip unlike the guys in downtown Cairo asking for money for "watching" our car in a free public parking...

"Alhambra Hotel has a very unique and beautiful exterior that is reminiscent of a scene out of the Aladdin movie. It was pretty amazing. The interior is pretty outdated but it was clean and the multiple balconies in the unit were a plus. The almost never-ending hot water was wonderful. The star of this hotel by far was the staff. The owner and the main receptionist were extremely helpful. They truly went above and beyond to accommodate us with some special requests for our baby, our laundry...

"Room 10 was amazing, on ground floor with a great view of the Valley of the Kings and early morning view of all the Hot Air Balloons. The staff from the owner, BIG Mohammed to everyone else (the young Egyptian lady, working the desk, LITTLE Mohammed, kitchen/dining staff and all auxiliary staff) was amazing, polite and helpful. The issues that was there was that you have to wait a little for the hot water after the switch is turned on, the WIFI is spotty everywhere and the pool is a little...

"We clearly came to the hotel at a quiet time of year as there were not many other guests but it was an amazing experience as all of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! The aesthetics and design of the place was really well done and high quality and the food also matched this standard.
The bar had a grand piano which was so much fun to be able to play (I'm a pianist) and I even got a request from the staff to play again the next night - only down side was the piano was very out of...

"Great value hotel in a great location - only a short walk to the Luxor Temple, Luxor Museum and Nile River promenade. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Nile and we watched hot air balloons flying over West Bank early one of the mornings. We ordered room service, used laundry service, had drinks at the bar and got a massage. Everything was great! The hotel is a bit outdated but we liked our room with high ceilings. Special shout out to the
