"The Ermitage Hotel at Mont Saint Michel is an amazing and charming place! We loved the hotel and its people. Starting with Jean-Marc, the concierge, who immediately contacted us. Jean-Marc is a fantastic and smart tour guide with incredible history knowledge who took us to the most beautiful towns and landmarks. Then, Vincent, who works at the hotel restaurant. Jean-Marc and Vincent are wonderful hosts who made us feel like they were good friends of ours. The Director Werner is also really nice and ready to assist guests with any request or wine selection questions; and last but not least, Sabrina and Loic who were terrific too! Thank you again to all of you for an awesome vacation!"

"Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at La Mère Poulard hotel, and everything about the experience exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and we were given all the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable. The bed was cozy, the linens were fresh, and the amenities were thoughtful – everything from the toiletries to the in-room coffee and tea was high quality. What stood out most was the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. The location was perfect AND THE VIEW from our room was spectacular – close to everything we wanted to see but also peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, varied, and delicious, with something for every taste. We left feeling relaxed, cared for, and already looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay! "

"The shower was the worst part no pressure water at all wifi was cutting on and off all the time the tv took about an hour to sort itself out the bathrooms floor was grim I had to take a shower with my flip flops. Next door from us they were so noisy and annoying to the point that out bed was moving through the wall. "

"Great location for joining a boat charter and to explore Granville. Very nice hotel with a good restaurant and bar. We continued to dine at the restaurant when we joined the boat.The hotel is an easy walk to the centre shops and sights in Granville."

"Very nice little apartment away from the business of St Michel. Kitchen was so nice to have after eating in restaurants for the last 2 weeks. Kids loved the pool, and adults enjoyed sipping wine on our deck. The staff was very friendly and was able to get our place ready ahead if check in."

" Beautiful place with an amazing view of Le Mont St Michel. Prepare to walk a lot and climb stairs. The breakfast was really good with a good variety of choices. I was able to check in early and checkout late which is extremely convenient due to the train arrival and departure. "

"We had a wonderful experience! The hotel is great—nice and very clean. The view is nice, too! However, our room wasn't ready until 4:20 p.m., not 4:00 p.m. We were able to drop off our bags before checking in and after checking out, which was very convenient. Overall, it was very positive."

"We loved our stay here! It was so quaint and lovely. The staff are wonderful and spoke fluent English. There are two units which house guests- we loved the view of the charming garden from our room. Although we got in too late to book time at the hot tub, we did get to enjoy a lovely afternoon in the conservatory. We also ordered coffee for room service and it was delightful!"

"Perfect location for visiting Mont St Michel with the shuttle bus stopping right in front of hotel. Alternately you can enjoy the walk, approx 30 min with lovely views. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. The breakfast is an excellent value and I’d highly recommend it. I’d stay here again if we come back for another visit "

"Overall a good stay at the Relais. We chose this hotel because we wanted to view Mont Saint Michel from our room. The view did not disappoint. The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. The hotel is located right next to a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel which was convenient. "

"Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."

"They upgraded my room to one with a private bathroom free of charge due to most of the hotel being occupied by male construction workers. It was greatly appreciated. Only downside is the location, as there is nothing around except a few grocery stores that close early and the closest bus is a 20min walk away. Aside from that, it was a great little spot and the staff was lovely! "
