Wildwood Crest is well-known for its seaside while top attractions include Wildwood Boardwalk. This beachside city has something for everyone including restaurants as well as sights like Lakeview Docks and Five Mile Beach. All are within a small-town setting.
Wildwood itself is a really fun place to spend with a family, but I would recommend checking it out off-season with kids if possible if you don't like big rowdy teenagers and crowds. Much quieter and calmer and safer from drunken hooligans.

I've always liked the Crest. It's a quiet town with great beaches and close enough to the Wildwood boardwalk and Cape May attractions. Good for family vacations.

It is quiet and not as crowded on the beach. North Wildwood and Wildwood more party beaches.
"Room felt clean and equipped with all needs. No staff after 11pm was my only disappointment but manager is available to call or text is needed. I felt uncomfortable doing so but he was available according to welcome letter. "
"I stayed in a room with beautiful new bed coverings. Leslie and her family are hands down
the best thing about the place, they are so friendly and welcoming. Being so close to the beach and being dog friendly are also very important to me."
"Overall wonderful experience!! Some improvements can be made to the facility itself (our sliding door to the balcony was impossible to open and close), but the staff is phenomenal! So I’ll let that one slide (no pun intended)."
"The hotel decor is adorable, very friendly staff, and everything was extremely clean. Pool area and outdoor sitting areas were absolutely perfect. So comfortable and a very relaxing atmosphere. Also the staff on the beach helping with chairs and umbrellas were wonderful. We can’t wait to plan another “friends’ getaway” for next year. "
