"Some rooms are in another building and are nice simple rooms. They need to work on their cleaning (both in the rooms and the toilets in the restaurant). I don't think our room had been hoovered. (Lots of hair around).
We didn't find the beds particularly comfortable and the duvet had been fitted incorrectly (rotated 90 degrees so one side had a flappy cover with no duvet but it hung out the end by 6 inches).
That said, the restaurant is very good. Had a lovely dinner and nice

"Our stay at the Lansdowne was wonderful- Corrine and Casey couldn’t have been more lovely and welcoming. The breakfasts are delicious and the room was very comfortable, although a tad small for two of us. The building was built mid-1800’s and there is no lift — if you have mobility issues request a ground floor room. "

"It was a really nice place to stay. Also has a Spa attached to it if you wanted to have a pamper. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The only thing i wish it had was air conditioning in the rooms as it can get quite hot at night. Would definately go again and recomment it. Food was also fantastic although i only had

"Stay was excellent, in extremely warm weather. The room was advised as being a quiet room at the rear. However with the temperature, we had the windows open wide, to be greeted by the continual sound of the air con units, until 11 p.m.
Staff, and service are excellent, superb

"Lady at reception very welcoming and friendly. The hotel itself is a little tired looking but our room was great, clean and comfortable.
Went to the bar for a drink but found the bartender extremely unfriendly and in a bad mood.
