"Somewhat remote location. Only stay if you have a car. Taxis are nonexistent and expensive. Hotel does NOT have a restaurant and you’ll have a 45 min walk down non lit paths and roads. Pool is nice and staff is friendly"

The hotel is geared up for a family who love their activities - a full timetable of events, football, tennis, a mini farm and 3 pools. The main pool area was lovely, with a well-stocked pool bar. "If you need to relax in an amazing hotel and beautiful landscape, we can highly recommend montebelli. It’s quiet, it’s peaceful and the staff is extraordinary friendly. We had a great time. The main Tuscan tourist spots are about 1.5-2 hours by car, but you can explore a lot of beautiful spots nearby. The restaurant is also good. "

"Very nice private beach. Rooms - we had a bungalow- are totally ok, yet need a refresh/update. Breakfast was very good, friendly stuff, non problem at all to stay longer even though bf ended at 10am. We enjoyed our time at Il Pelagone- many thanks!"

Dinner and breakfast is served on the terrazzo and everything we had was great, that also includes the wines.
We really enjoyed our stay and we really liked our own patio and the concert with live music. We’ll be back! "
