From the moment we arrived, to our very early departure, all staff members went out of their way to assist us; whether making arrangements to collect us from the bus station, to booking tickets on our behalf, or offering recommendations on places to visit. This hotel feels like a genuine family-run affair with a sensitivity to guests needs without being intrusive.

We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children.
Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run.
We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded.
The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it.
The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment....

Basically it is hard to think of a smoothest experience with everything you need to do and enjoy walkable in a few minutes.

"Amazing stag at Les Monts d'Arbois. Service was great especially the shuttles to go the nearby ski lift or city center. The swimming pool is beautiful and great after a ski session. The hotel is very kid friendly and they loved the kids club room. The room (suite Edmond) is large and nicely decorates with a modern twist on the chalet style."
