The front desk does not make change even from a 50 real note ($10), and the local ATMs need a Brazilian id to get money out, even the "24 hour" system which is supposed to be international. Excellent buffet breakfast, varied, fresh fruit, juices, never a problem with the food which is always fresh and covered from occasional flies and the rare small...

"Deidre and the rest of the staff were really nice and helpful! This hotel is right on the beach and a short beach walk to Cumbuco and many other beachside restaurants. We loved the hammocks for every room and beachside massages. We had a great and affordable stay!"

"Cumbuco is a wonderful hotel with great facilities. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They went out of there way to speak English with us which was very kind. Food excellent, pool really nice. Great service "

"Nice hotel. Rooms are beautiful, however you can hear whats above / below or next to you - just hope you dont get a screaming child. This child also screamed most of the time in pool and as its a courtyard it just echoed. I dont think this hotel is built for children. The aircon also made a huge noise (played the recording for them) I couldnt sleep first night. Moving me downstairs was better. Its a 40min drive to Fortaleza town but more convenient for Beach Park. Dining options arent great....
