No WiFi in the basement where the gym is, so couldn’t use my Peloton app to work out with the hotel’s gym equipment. It’s a classy hotel; I was surprised they didn’t have a booster so we could get WiFi down there.
Kayaking available right from the hotel! What a plus! Unfortunately no single kayaks which is what I like, just two doubles.
There was a lot of condensation on the window in the room which created small pools of water on the window sill and we had to wipe the windows down to be able to see the gorgeous view.
In spite of the problems, and clearly improvements are needed, we enjoyed every minute of our stay!"

There was also smell of sewage during the night. We mentioned this to the receptionist and she changed our rooms by the third night and offered us a free dinner at the restaurant as a compensation. The second room was lovely. The pool could use a clean up. But overall the experience was lovely and we got engaged there so we have a special place for this hotel in our memory now:)"

"At checkin, system was down and we did not get the room we paid for. This was corrected by Frontdesk later that evening.
Hotel has huge windows with amazing views but in June (summer) the hotel becomes a furnace. The room and public areas were just too hot for our comfort. There are no airconditioned rooms or areas in the hotel and we could not excape the heat other than go back in our car and drive around.
Our misfortune was that our checkin was December 24 and most services (F&B, Spa) were just not available.
Breakfast (xmas morning!) was nothing particular. Just plain continental without any xmas atmosphere.
Maintenance is needed as many areas show damaged woodwork and painting opportunities.
All in all not the experience we expected. This hotel is probably a better choice in winter time."
