"We absolutely loved our trip to Fort Myers Beach! Edison Beach House was the perfect place for our stay. It is an older building but very well kept and clean. The elevator was currently out of service since they reopened and we were on the 5th floor. Thankfully this was okay for us. (They did call us in advance to make sure this worked for us.) We were within walking distance to everything yet far enough away when we didn't want to be part of the action. The beach was great and we absolutely loved the fact that they had a closet full of stuff for us to use at the beach (chairs, floaties, etc.). The front desk people were very friendly and helpful when we spoke with them.
The only thing I wished they had was a few umbrellas to use on the beach (there was one but we couldn't get it in the ground) but we spent most of our time in the ocean anyway.
Washer and dryers and all the kitchen appliances were a huge plus and we had an amazing view from the top floor!! Highly recommend!! "
