Learn more about Shirley

Shirley is well-known for its attractions such as Great South Bay and Carmans River.

This photograph was taken on Long Island at Smith Point Beach on a nice sunny day. People were feeding the deer and I was there at the perfect time. I caught this deer family photo as they were on their way over to my car for some food. It shocks me how friendly these deer were to me taking food right out of my hand, it was a very fun time. This location is amazing to take photographs at weather its summer, fall, winter, and spring.
