Carlisle was pretty nice. If you visit, check out some of the local breweries. I went to Back Porch Brewing, Market Cross Pub, and Cafe Bruges and all were great. Fantastic food and friendly service. Definitely go downtown for dinner.

I was there for an event at Dickinson College. Downtown Carlisle has lots of nice restaurants, although most are not open late. Nice hiking trails at Kings Gap Environmental Education Center.

"My overall experience was wonderful — from the cleanliness of the property to the warm service and amenities like the pool, fitness room, and breakfast. I felt genuinely served, and while everyone looks for different things, I appreciated everything the hotel had to offer. It was a one-of-a-kind stay for me."

"It’s good value and a rare hotel whose hot tub actually works! Good breakfast selection too. Only negative is that the EV chargers are far too expensive for overnight. At 2.75/h, it’s more economical to fast charge elsewhere, unless you’re willing to wake up in the middle of the night to move once you’re full. Lower this to $2/h, or charge by kWh (+ idle fee if you absolutely need to), and I’d use it every time. "
"We stayed here once before, and it wasn't bad but it is under new management and much better. This time we enjoyed the stay even more. This time they supplied enough towels and supplies for two people to enjoy the hot tub and bathroom. My suggestions are this if you stay... get in line for breakfast early as it goes fast. Wish they had two waffle irons, so the line moved more smoothly but it was still alright. And use a towel at the bottom of the door to drown out hallway footsteps (they could use a door strip so light, and noise filters out). Otherwise... you will definitely enjoy your stay here. The manager at the desk was very friendly. Room was very clean, and we loved it there this time. Look forward to our next visit. I hope that they keep it as clean and nice as it was this time. Thank you!"
