"Phoenician is a nice spot, but some of it is nearing the end of its lifecycle. In particular, the casitas are tired. We stayed in a premium casita and it felt really old and tired. The property itself is very decent and has tons of options. Location is great. Food is great. Service is wonderful and attentive. Pools are great - and there’s many of them. All around, a nice spot, but to stay “five star”, they’ll need to get the rooms back up to speed."
